Baseball Game Preview: Martinsville Pirates vs. Broaddus Bulldogs

The Martinsville Pirates will head out on the road to take on the Broaddus Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martinsville comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Martinsville is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs back in March, they were much more limited against Centerville back in March. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 17-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Broaddus' offense. They lost 10-0 to Centerville on Thursday. Broaddus has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Martinsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Broaddus, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Martinsville might still be hurting after the 22-12 loss they got from Broaddus in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
