Preview: Hitchcock vs. Palacios

Hitchcock fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game on Friday as the odds are decidedly against them. They will take on Palacios at 7:30 p.m. ET at home. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games.

Hitchcock was able to grind out a solid victory over Boling last week, winning 14-7.

Meanwhile, Palacios took their game against Hempstead by a conclusive 48-14 score. Gary Haynes went supernova for the Sharks as he rushed for 158 yards and four TDs on 26 carries. Haynes has been a consistent playmaker for the Sharks as this was the ninth good game in a row from him. Haynes scored five touchdowns overall-- his season high.

Everything went Hitchcock's way against Palacios when the two teams last met in November of last year as they made off with a 46-14 win. Will Hitchcock repeat their success, or does Palacios have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
