Basketball Recap: Kennett Comes Up Short

Kennett lost against Doniphan back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Kennett Indians had to suffer through a 72-35 loss at the hands of the Doniphan Dons. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Kennett's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Doniphan, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennett will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Malden at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Doniphan will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Puxico at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
