Monocacy Valley - Piedmont recap November 13, 2013

Middletown added to the longest winning streak in Monocacy Valley - Piedmont this week by beating Oakdale, 51-14. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Knights.

Middletown led the league in scoring this week after putting up 51 points on Oakdale. Tim Pirrone threw for 35 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 55 yards during the win.

Kevin Lynott's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Brad Rinehart chipped in 115 yards.

Rinehart provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Knights beat Oakdale. Rinehart's key target this week was Tim Schumacher, who caught 2 passes for 25 yards.

Pirrone put up the best numbers through the air as Middletown bested Oakdale. Pirrone's favorite target this week was Schumacher, who caught 2 passes for 25 yards.

Middletown's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Pirrone has thrown for 542 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Mitch Sgrignoli has 16 catches for 217 yards.

Tuscarora made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,074 from 3,288. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 49-14 victory over Walkersville last week.
