            Port St. Joe won the last time they faced Franklin County and things went their way  on Friday too. Port St. Joe came out on top against Franklin County by a score of  6-2.

 Tucker Ashcraft looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Port St. Joe is 3-1 when  Ashcraft allowsone or  fewer  hits, but 7-8 otherwise.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Cole Williams, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Corban Butts, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
Port St. Joe now  has a winning record of 10-9. As for Franklin County, they moved to 12-6 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port St. Joe will host Brookstone  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Brookstone will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something Port St. Joe surely won't give up without a fight. As for Franklin County, they will be playing at home against Wakulla Christian School  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Franklin County's pitchers better be ready for this one: Wakulla Christian School has averaged an impressive 6.8  runs per game this season.
