Basketball Recap: Western Heights Comes Up Short

Western Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 72-29 defeat at the hands of the Classen SAS Comets. While losing is never fun, the Jets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Comets are ranked 102nd).

Western Heights' loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Classen SAS, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Heights will host Midwest City at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Classen SAS, they will welcome Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
