With a playoff win on the line, South Portland rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Gorham Rams by a score of 50-37. The win was nothing new for the Red Riots as they're now sitting on ten straight.

South Portland pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points over those games. As for Gorham, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.

Looking ahead, South Portland will challenge Cheverus at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cheverus will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something South Portland surely won't give up without a fight. Gorham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
