Recap: Dighton-Rehoboth Regional vs. Canton
Canton had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They managed a somewhat close 25-20 win over Dighton-Rehoboth Regional.
Canton got off to a sluggish start, posting 0 total points in the first half. That left them at a 0-14 disadvantage. In the second half, however, Canton's defense made a stand and allowed a meager 6 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving Canton a 1-0 record and starting Dighton-Rehoboth Regional off at 0-1.
Canton will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Bellingham. As for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, they will face off against Plymouth South.
