Basketball Recap: Cypress Park Takes a Loss

Cypress Park lost against Cypress Lakes back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cypress Park Tigers fell to the Cypress Lakes Spartans 54-49.

Cypress Park has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-14 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points over those games. As for Cypress Lakes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-13 record this season.

Looking ahead, Cypress Park will take on Cypress Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cypress Lakes, they will challenge Waller at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cypress Lakes is facing Waller at the right time seeing as Waller is stuck on a 27-game losing streak.
