Softball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison lost against Fitzgerald back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 12-1 to the Spartans.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Fitzgerald, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Madison is set to face off against their familiar foe Sterling Heights at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fitzgerald will challenge rival Clintondale at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
