Basketball Game Preview: Logansport Berries vs. Northridge Raiders

The Logansport Berries and the Northridge Raiders will round out the year against one another at at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Logansport has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Northridge will arrive with seven straight wins.

Logansport lost 89-68 to Maconaquah on Saturday.

Despite the defeat, Logansport saw an underclassman step up: sophomore RJ Clem dropped a double-double on 25 points and 21 boards. With that strong performance, Clem is now averaging an impressive 8.3 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Anthony Delvalle, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.

Even though they lost, Logansport smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Northridge blew past Goshen, posting a 70-33 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Northridge's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Logansport, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
