Glen Rock won the last time they faced Rutherford and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers walked away with a 9-6 win over the Bulldogs. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Sean Spitaleri was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Aidan Alvino was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Wyatt Morrissey was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Glen Rock's record is now 12-1-2. As for Rutherford, they moved to 8-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Rock will take on Lyndhurst at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rutherford, they will challenge Midland Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
