Basketball Recap: Varnum Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Varnum won the last time they faced Macomb and things went their way on Saturday too. The Varnum Whippets came out on top against the Macomb Hornets by a score of 66-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Whippets.

Varnum's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Macomb, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.
