Volleyball Recap: St. Johns Gets the Win

St. Johns had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants by a score of 2-0. The Redwings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Maroon Giants, too.

This is the second loss in a row for Kalamazoo Central and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1.

St. Johns has already played their next contest (against Portage Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. After both having extra time off, Kalamazoo Central and Forest Hills Central will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on September 4.
