Baseball Recap: Webbers Falls Comes Up Short

Webbers Falls lost against Central back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-2.

Webbers Falls has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-1 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Webbers Falls has already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Cave Springs on the 8th. As for Central, they will be playing at home against Arkoma at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
