Softball Recap: Houlka Comes Up Short

Houlka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 24-1 to Calhoun City. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Calhoun City this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-1 back in February.

Houlka's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Calhoun City, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Houlka wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 26-2 loss against Smithville on the 20th. As for Calhoun City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-8 defeat against Bruce on the 20th.
