Rio Rancho is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Atrisco Heritage Academy with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering the Rams have won 15 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Mayfield faced Los Lunas in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Trojans never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory.

Mayfield's win bumped their record up to 20-7-1. As for Rio Rancho, their victory bumped their record up to 23-5.
