Softball Recap: Andover Comes Up Short

Andover lost to Valley Center on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Hornets, falling 18-10. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andover's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Valley Center, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Andover will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Salina Central at 4:00 p.m. on May 5. As for Valley Center, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-4 victory against Hutchinson on the 10th.
