Softball Preview: White Pine Bobcats vs. Lincoln County Lynx
The White Pine Bobcats will challenge the Lincoln County Lynx at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Friday, White Pine got the win against Lake Mead Christian Academy by a conclusive 18-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.
Gianna Sedlacek was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

White Pine's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Lincoln County, their record now sits at 15-8.
