Prairie View is 8-1 against Westminster since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Thunderhawks will be playing at home against the Wolves at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Prairie View fell victim to Riverdale Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Ravens, falling 7-0. The Thunderhawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Westminster came up short against Northglenn on Tuesday and fell 8-5.

Adrian Moreno made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Baca, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Prairie View now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Westminster, they now also have a losing record of 4-5.

Prairie View got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Westminster by a conclusive 7-1 score. Do the Thunderhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
