Basketball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Augusta was the 79-77 winner over Nicholas County when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Augusta Panthers fell 73-66 to the Nicholas County Bluejackets on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Nicholas County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Augusta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nicholas County, they will be taking part in a tournament against George Rogers Clark at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Nicholas County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 21 games.
