Volleyball Recap: Campion Academy Comes Up Short

Campion Academy lost against Varsity Opponent two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to Varsity Opponent.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-16.

Izuchi Nwankwo paced Campion Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Nwankwo were helped by Davi Vieira and Justin Ticonuwu, who contributed two assists each. Gustovo Silveira controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Campion Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Campion Academy has already played their next game, a 0-0 victory against Lotus School For Excellence on the 15th. Varsity Opponent has also already played their next contest (against Hammond Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
