Basketball Recap: Ipswich Takes a Loss

Ipswich lost against Danvers back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Ipswich Tigers came up short against the Danvers Falcons, falling 36-11. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kayda Brown was the offensive standout of the contest as she went 5 for 11 on her way to 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jane Koulopoulos, who posted six points.

Ipswich's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Danvers, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ipswich will take on Newburyport in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Danvers, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Winthrop at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
