Baseball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Nottingham Northstars. Even if the Tigers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Nottingham, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

Looking ahead, Princeton will venture away from home to face off against South Hunterdon at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Nottingham has already played their next game (against Bordentown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
