Softball Recap: Pulaski Gets the Win

Pulaski barely beat Hannibal the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Devils never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.

Eva Miele was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Hayden Reynolds was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Pulaski always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Pulaski's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Hannibal, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Pulaski will square off against Cato-Meridian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hannibal, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tully at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
