Moorhead lost to Alexandria last Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Spuds who were credited with the victory. The Moorhead Spuds got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Alexandria Cardinals' zero. The win made it back-to-back victories for Moorhead.

Moorhead has now won three of their last four games on the road. That's given a healthy boost to their 10-4-1 record this season. As for Alexandria, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7-2.

As of now, neither Moorhead nor Alexandria have any future games scheduled.
