Basketball Recap: Colton Delancey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Meadowbrook over Ridgewood

Meadowbrook played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 61-37 to the Ridgewood Generals. The Colts' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Several Colts players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Colton Delancey, who posted ten points and four steals. Delancey is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Warner, who had six points.

Meadowbrook's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ridgewood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Meadowbrook won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Indian Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ridgewood, they will welcome Sandy Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
