The Palmetto Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Dr. Krop Lightning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Palmetto is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Palmetto is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering MAST Academy just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Makos could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Palmetto have been dealt a draw since back in November.

Their goal came courtesy of Alejandro Aguilar, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, Dr. Krop has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 4. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Coral Reef.

With that draw, Dr. Krop's record moves to 1-1-4. As for Palmetto, they moved theirs to 5-0-2.

Palmetto might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Dr. Krop in their previous meeting back in January of 2021. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
