Basketball Game Preview: Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots vs. Alpharetta Raiders

After both having extra time off, the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots and the Alpharetta Raiders will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Mount Pisgah Christian and 12 for Alpharetta dating back to last season.

On December 13th, Mount Pisgah Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 34-30 to Landmark Christian.

Meanwhile, Alpharetta played a tough match last Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 51-16 defeat at the hands of Cambridge. The Raiders were down 42-13 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Lauren Andrews was Alpharetta's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Grace Biermann held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. ElEanor Franchak took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Alpharetta's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
