Soccer Game Preview: Reynolds vs. Gresham

The Reynolds Raiders will face off against the Gresham Gophers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Reynolds will be strutting in after a win while Gresham will be coming in after a loss.

Reynolds is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over Nelson on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Reynolds needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Gresham entered their matchup against Central Catholic on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Gophers lost 6-1 to the Rams. While losing is never fun, Gresham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Central Catholic are ranked sixth).

Reynolds now has a winning record of 5-4-2. As for Gresham, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-2.
