Baseball Recap: Edgewood Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

It's playoff time, and Edgewood had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the West Rusk Raiders 4-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2022.

Edgewood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for West Rusk, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-14-1.

Edgewood will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
