Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North lost against Alexander back in October of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs. The Raiders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Alexander can attribute much of their success to Brianna Espinoza, who had six digs and two aces.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Alexander, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Looking ahead, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will host Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alexander, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Rowe at 9:00 a.m.
