Football Recap: Bloomfield Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Montclair + How To Watch

Bloomfield hadn't done well against Montclair recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bengals put the hurt on the Mounties with a sharp 46-21 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bengals' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Mounties are ranked 87th).

Jeremy Tejada was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 195 yards and five scores while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Tayler Guerrero was another key player, rushing for 72 yards and one TD on only nine carries.

Bloomfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Michael Mickens, Christian Cradle, and Guerrero picked up one apiece.

Bloomfield now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Montclair, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
