Football Recap: A Plus Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

A Plus Academy had lost four straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 4-6 to make it five. They were dealt a 48-18 loss at the hands of the Madison Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 64-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Diego Soto and Emmanuel Mendoza certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Soto threw for 288 yards and four TDs on only 16 passes, while Mendoza picked up 164 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

As for Madison, they moved to 2-8 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Randy Hudson produced another solid effort throwing for 298 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.9 yards per attempt. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (147.9). Coderian Wilson was in the mix as well, providing Madison with one TD.

As of now, neither A Plus Academy nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
