Basketball Recap: Pacific Takes a Loss

If Pacific was feeling good fresh off their 40-20 takedown of Bourbon last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pacific Indians were dealt a 64-29 loss at the hands of the Freeburg Midgets on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 451st in Missouri, while the Midgets are ranked 140th in Illinois).

Pacific has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Freeburg, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-10.

Pacific has already played their next game (against Steelville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Freeburg has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against North County.
