Basketball Recap: Livingston Academy Wildcats vs. White County Warriors
Livingston Academy lost against White County two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Livingston Academy Wildcats fell to the White County Warriors 64-58. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Warriors are ranked fifth).
White County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keely Mullins led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Mullins now owns an excellent 50% three-point shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Ava Jones, who posted 16 points and five boards.
Livingston Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12. As for White County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-3 record this season.
