Basketball Recap: Moorhead's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moorhead). They snuck past the Buffalo Bison with a 51-46 victory on Friday. For the Spuds, this counts as revenge for the 84-63 win the Bison walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Moorhead's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Buffalo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moorhead will take on West Fargo in a holiday battle at at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Buffalo and Jefferson will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
