Basketball Recap: Palisades Dolphins vs. Hamilton Yankees

There's no place like home for the Palisades Dolphins, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against Hamilton by a score of 67-59 on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Hamilton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Demaije May, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. May is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chinonso Njoku, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 rebounds.

Palisades pushed their record up to 11-14 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Hamilton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-18.

Palisades does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hamilton also has no future games currently scheduled.
