Softball Recap: Eastern Randolph Comes Up Short

Eastern Randolph lost against Ledford back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell 7-4 to the Panthers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastern Randolph saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raegan Beaver, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Hailey Ritter was another, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Eastern Randolph's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Ledford, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Eastern Randolph Wildcats duke it out with Randleman Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ledford, they will take on Central Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
