Softball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Poston Butte's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Poston Butte lost to Arcadia back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Broncos walked away with an 11-8 win over the Titans. That's two games straight that the Broncos have won by exactly three runs.

The team relied heavily on Jasmine Barrera, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Brylee Litviak was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Poston Butte has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Arcadia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-12-1.

Poston Butte didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 victory against Paradise Honors on the 3rd. Arcadia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
