Baseball Recap: Ridge Community Wins Going Away Against Frostproof

Ridge Community never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Frostproof Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 back in February.

Deniel Serrano made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Ridge Community is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 8-10 otherwise. Serrano was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adrian Cuadrado, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Anthony Brooks, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

The win got Ridge Community back to even at 11-11. As for Frostproof, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Coincidentally, Ridge Community and Frostproof will both be playing Tenoroc the next time they take the field. The Bolts will host the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
