Baseball Game Preview: Community School of Davidson Spartans vs. Central Davidson Spartans

Community School of Davidson are taking a road trip to take on Central Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Community School of Davidson easily dispatched Bradford Prep on April 2nd, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Spartans fell just short of Lincoln Charter by a score of 6-4 two weeks ago. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Central Davidson waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Hawks. That's two games straight that the Spartans have won by just one run.

Central Davidson's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Community School of Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
