Football Game Preview: Central Eagles vs. Kingstree Blazers + How To Watch

The Central Eagles will take on the Kingstree Blazers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kingstree took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Central, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Central was fully in charge, breezing past North Central 42-7. The Eagles' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ashten Wilson, who rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and one score.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch Aiden Short also helped with two TDs in total.

Central's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jakari Holloman, Eric Maddox, and Marques Allen, who each picked up one sack apiece. Holloman was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 14 total tackles.

Meanwhile, Kingstree came up short against Atlantic Collegiate Academy on Friday and fell 21-14.

The victory made it two in a row for Central and bumps their season record up to 8-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Kingstree, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
