MacArthur and Richardson are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Cardinals will challenge the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when MacArthur challenged Irving on Thursday. The Cardinals came up short against the Tigers, falling 7-1.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Richardson's offense. They lost 9-0 to Dallas Jesuit last Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since March 1st.

Richardson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sully Hale, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Richardson's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-10-1. As for MacArthur, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-10 record this season.

MacArthur couldn't quite get it done against Richardson in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 as they fell 7-3. Can the Cardinals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
