Logan Dent Turns in Season-Best Effort

Logan Dent produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Salem to the win on Friday. Dent rushed for 231 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making a tackle.

If history really does repeat itself, Dent might just drop another big game when he faces off against West Washington on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Dent saw the Senators), he rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Adam Mull Has Career Rushing Day

On Friday, Salem got the W thanks in part to Adam Mull playing the best football he has all season. Mull rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.

Mull and Salem will face off against West Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Mull took on the Senators, he rushed for 30 yards and three touchdowns. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Charlestown came up short on Friday despite Ryan Shields delivering his best game to date. Shields rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. This season, Hester has averaged 8.6 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 8.14 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 130.71 rushing yards.

Byrd Posts Huge Game in 51-7 Victory

Nathan Byrd was instrumental in extending Scottsburg's winning streak to six on Friday. Byrd was unstoppable, throwing for 205 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Scottsburg's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Byrd will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Brownstown Central on Friday.
