Jayne Gilchrist Game Report: vs San Marcos

On Saturday Jayne Gilchrist pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Gilchrist has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than one walk. For the season, she has an ERA of 5.25 over 6.7 innings pitched.

Gilchrist and Saugus will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Dos Pueblos at 1:00 p.m. The Chargers will enter the matchup having just beaten Burroughs, so the Centurions will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
