Basketball Recap: Burrell Comes Up Short

Burrell's tournament run continued when they took on Springdale on Saturday. The Burrell Bucs fell just short of the Springdale Dynamos by a score of 53-51.

Burrell now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Springdale, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Burrell will take on Leechburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burrell is facing Leechburg at the right time seeing as Leechburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Springdale, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-61 victory against Perry Traditional Academy on the 9th.
