Baseball Recap: Fasman Yeshiva's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last six games, Fasman Yeshiva finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Holy Trinity Tigers by a score of 4-2. The matchup marked Fasman Yeshiva's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fasman Yeshiva saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yahu Greenberger, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Yishai Nankin was another, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fasman Yeshiva fell to 6-1. As for Holy Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Fasman Yeshiva will look to defend their home field on Friday against Amundsen at 3:45 p.m. As for Holy Trinity, they will head out to take on Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Romans will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
