Basketball Recap: Shady Side Academy Falls Short of Aliquippa in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shady Side Academy can now relate to. They lost 71-49 to the Aliquippa Quips on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Quips are ranked 55th).

Shady Side Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Aliquippa, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Shady Side Academy nor Aliquippa have any future games scheduled.
