Sequoia Charter skates past American Heritage Academy with ease

Recap: Sequoia Charter Stallions vs. American Heritage Academy
The Sequoia Charter Stallions's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They breezed by American Heritage Academy at home to the tune of 62-31. With that win, Sequoia Charter brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.
Sequoia Charter found their leader in underclassman Asher Roehl, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Roehl has scored at least 25% of Sequoia Charter's points. Donovan Marshall was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
The victory got Sequoia Charter back to even at 1-1. As for American Heritage Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequoia Charter will stay at home for another game and welcome Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on December 4th. American Heritage Academy will take on Jefferson Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
